The East Jakarta Library and Archives (Pusip) Sub-agency opens the archival restoration and digitization services at Permata Intan RPTRA, Bidara Cina, Jatinegara, on Monday (13/1).

In the service, citizens' damaged archives will be re-laminated and scanned for digital archiving. After that, it is used as a document in the form of a compact disc (CD) and then handed over to citizens.

"We have seven officers here," expressed East Jakarta Pusip Sub-agency's Technical Implementation Section Officer (PPTK) Acting Head, Suprapto.

Therefore, for citizens whose documents were damaged or missing due to flooding some time ago could report to the related units.

As experienced by Nurjaenah (49), a citizen of RT 10/07 Bidara Cina said that she was grateful for the services provided by the Jakarta Provincial Government to flood victims.

"Alhamdulillah my documents can be fixed again," she admitted.

Similar statement also came out from another citizen, Arman (34).

"This service is very helpful for us," he stated.
